blog.jpg I took a couple days off and decided to work on my truck. I really enjoy old cars and trucks and I enjoy working on them. Anyway, I had this problem with the engine in my truck, and the futher I went, the more I realized this was not just a simple fix. I bought the truck not knowing the problem exisited but it was not long before it just was not running right and something had to be done with it. Well,as it turned out, I had to disassemble half of the engine and replace some parts that failed. I don’t like just fixing a problem without knowing what caused it. It took some research, but after a while I found out what caused the failure. The guy who originally rebuilt the engine did not check the clearence (very important) on a specfic part and it resulted in this failure.

Well, I got the truck back together with some help from another friend of mine and the truck is running great! The best part though, was that all the time we spent working on the truck we were talking about the Word of God! You know, there’s room for the Word in everything we do!

If I’m by myself, it’s the perfect opportunity to meditate on Scripture. If I’ve got someone around I can even talk about it; the Word of God has a way of making any situation more worth while. Give the Word of God first place in all you do!
