Tim_thumbnail.jpgWe were so glad to return to Alabama in August! It was our 6th trip to hard hit areas of the state in need of physical and spiritual rebuilding after the devastating tornados back in April . This trip we were blessed to bring a team of volunteers from Indiana and Michigan to help rebuild and repair a pastors home.

During our to feed returning families. This trip was a little more challenging! The volunteers did an awesome job pouring concrete, framing, hanging and finishing drywall, but especially keeping great attitudes in tough conditions and extreme heat!

photo-28As of today, we have served over 2,000 meals, praying with hundreds!

This morning I met a man named Jerry who came to the tent to eat. As we talked, he told me that today was especially hard. The insurance company is being difficult to work with. His house sustained unrepairable damage. And yesterday, he laid to rest his sister who was only 56 yrs old. I grabbed him and began praying for him on the spot! (more…)

photo-15We are on the ground here in Alabama, ministering to people’s physical and spiritual needs. The tent is up. We’re feeding folks and praying with them- it’s incredible what God is doing here. photo-3I wanted to give everyone an update on our efforts to help in Alabama after the Tornados this past week. Today (Tuesday) I spent surveying 3 different areas where there is major damage. I have had meetings with county officials, Church leaders and law enforcement agencies. (more…)
